Listening to: "Grace" by Lee Soo Young
Thinking: about Korea ._.
Feeling: hungry T_T
Argh. I know this is MONTHS late. T_T
Yes, this is the travel diary. :D It'll be composed of spazzing, most of the time. What else did you expect? :P But I guess the experience was worth writing about. I want to keep these memories with me forever, and I thought one of the best ways to do it was to write about it so I could read about it whenever I felt like it. ^^
I haven't typed the other entries yet because I haven't found the time to do it (I'm halfway through the one after this :x), but I thought I might as well post this. ^^;; The MyungDong entry comes after this one, btw. I have no idea when I'll be finishing that, though. ^^;;
So... Enjoy reading? :D Gosh, I miss Korea. I miss the boys. T_T

Listening to: the Korean radio station on the plane
Thinking: of Seoul XD
Feeling: exhausted T_T
Yay, I finally found time to write. ^^ I'm on the plane right now. The last time I checked, we were flying over Taiwan (aww, Jerry ^0^). But that was a long time ago. :x Actually, I think my sense of time is now warped. My watch is still set to Manila time and it's an hour behind Seoul time. -.-;;
My nose hurts. Maybe because the plane air is dry and I've gotten used to humid Philippine air. Gah, this sucks. >_<;
You know, the plane's selection of Korean pop music sucks. -.-;; No TVXQ songs! T_T So far, the only artists I recognized were Mina, Koyote and Paran. I don't even know the rest... T_T And that's not really a good sign, because most of the time I know who's playing on Soompi. :x
I'm in dire need of sleep. Seriously... I had 8 hours of sleep last night, and it still seems like it's not enough.
Okay, lemme start from our arrival at the NAIA (Ninoy Aquino International Airport). We arrived at the airport at precisely 8:30 pm. We checked in our luggage at around 9 pm, and ended up next in line to this group of ajummas who were wearing neon and Christmas-y colors. o.o;;
Then we went through immigration. It took us quite a while because of our re-entry permits and all.
We found ourselves inside the airport lounge around 9:15 pm. Dang, we had more than 2 hours to kill. ._.;;
My sister and I decided to check out the shops. Holy crap, they sell cans of Coke for 50 pesos each! OMFG... Outside, you can buy that same can of Coke for less than half of that. Overpricing... >_>;;
We ended up buying a bag of Twix. :D It seemed like the only decently-priced item anyway. Gah, they sell these bags of dried mangoes, 6 little bags for $20. O_O Holy crap. That's just TOO much. Even the magazines were 400 pesos, and they're supposed to cost only 120 pesos. OMFG. :x
My mom said, "You're just too stingy. :x" But is it my fault I refuse to buy such ridiculously overpriced stuff?!?! ._.
So we decided to sit on a bench and watch people. It's one of my favorite hobbies anyway. =P
There were tons of Koreans milling around, because the last 2 flights of the day that usually depart around midnight were all headed for Seoul. My sister said, "I think I'm getting culture shock, and I haven't even stepped on Seoul soil yet! @_@;;" Haha, so true. XD You would've thought that you were in Incheon International Airport already. =P Not that I know what the Incheon airport is like yet, but you get my drift. ^^;;
There were 2 groups of Koreans... The ahjushi's and ahjumma's, and the teenagers. How interesting. =P
I noticed that the older Koreans mostly had new shoes. Spanking new, gleaming white sneakers. =P
Most of the teenage Koreans were wearing typical Manila attire. Well, summer wear. WTF? It's -5C in Seoul and they're wearing flip-flops and mini-skirts. Whoa. o.O;; I dunno if they're going to change into something more suitable for the weather. :x
Okay, so it's 3 am (Seoul time), so that means it's 2 am Manila time. The map thingy says we're over Okinawa now. ^^ My hand hurts and my handwriting sucks. T_T I'm on the 2nd page of this journal already. :x I miss my blog. :( It's so much easier to type than to write... -.-;;
But since I have so much to say, I'll keep on writing. XD
Argh. This ahjumma sitting in front of me is pissing me off. T_T She keeps on reclining her seat and I end up getting squished between my sister and my mom. I was supposed to get the window seat, but I traded with my sister because she begged me to. Argh. T_T
When we entered the airport earlier, I was spazzing. =P When we got on the plane, I was still spazzing. When the plane was taking off, yet again, I was still spazzing. My mom was laughing at me for spazzing so much. She said I was acting like a kid. Okay, whatever. -_-;;
But in between the spazzes, I was acting nicely. Really. :) Hahaha!
We went into this Salvatore Ferragamo store earlier. I tried on a pair of red-framed sunglasses. Wahaha... OMFG, I looked like a bee! T_T I found it so amusing that I even took a pic of myself. :x Guess how much those shades cost? US$250. Holy crap. -_-;;

And I spotted these polo shirts. You know, Changmin shirts. :D I took a pic of those too. Dunhill, US$180. WTF. >_>;; I think they'd look lovely on Changmin, though. :)

Yeah, I'm stingy. And broke. Shoot me now. T_T
Oh yeah! XD My sister and I got mistaken for Koreans earlier! XD We were in the restroom... We went in, and stood in front of the stalls. But there were these 2 Korean ladies standing by the restroom door. The convo went something like this:
Lady #1: ¶óÀÌ´À. ¶óÀÌ´À. (Rin-eu. Rin-eu. I swear it sounded like that. :x)
Me: o_o
Lady #2: *looks at Lady #1* Çѱ¹ »ç¶÷?
Me: Ehh? *confused look*
Lady #1: Çѱ¹ »ç¶÷! Çѱ¹ »ç¶÷! *points to us and smiles*
Joanna: Oh, no! We're not Korean. We're Filipinas.
Me: Yes, we're Filipinas.
Lady #2: Oh, sorry! We thought you Korean!
Me: It's okay. *bows and smiles*
Yeah, we're starting on the whole bowing thing already. Haha. It's contagious. @_@
Anyways, we had beef bulgogi for supper. It tasted nothing like the beef bulgogi we had at the Korean restaurant back home, but I guess it was good enough. I couldn't eat much, I was too excited over everything. Especially over the Korean Coke. Not even over Korean aerial (?) territory yet, and we were already drinking Korean-made Coke. Haha. It tasted sweeter and less fizzier than Philippine-made Coke.
I can't believe I'm going to Korea. I know I have this weird habit of not expecting too much from anything, so I told myself that I'd just expect less from this trip so I won't get too disappointed in case anything bad happens. But still... I can't help but get all giddy over this. After all, it's TVXQ we're talking about. I've been dying to see them for YEARS.
Okay, I have this feeling that the ahjumma sitting in front of me is getting pissed off now. She just reclined her chair lower, and now I have trouble writing. T_T Be back later~~
